Preparation of Graphene Nanosheets from Graphite Flakes via Shear Assisted Exfoliation

Graphene is one of the most important forms carbon. Due to its exceptional physical, chemical, and mechanical properties, it’s used in different fields such as electronic, energy storage, medical applications. Therefore, production graphene large quantities, at a low cost, high quality, has become critical. Using graphite powder, few layers sheets were prepared via series exfoliation methods. dry ball milling process by planetary mill was used. Thereafter, followed shear force then supported ultra-sonication reach lowest level layers. Morphological properties examined using scanning electron microscope (SEM) transmission (TEM). Also, structural characterizations investigated Raman spectra X-ray diffraction measurements (XRD) (FTIR). Findings presented this research highlighted that synthesis method found have several advantages, including cost ease producing nanosheets. Subsequently, promising efficiency methodology important.
